Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, with family, or in a group, we offer different types of accommodations to suit your needs from cozy two-person cabins to spacious lodges for small or larger groups. All cabins are simple yet thoughtfully furnished, offering comfort, privacy, and a peaceful night’s rest.

Each lodge has its own bathroom and balcony, and some have a hammock, allowing you to fully take in the beauty of the Amazon. At Danpaati, you don’t have to give up comfort to experience the wild. You can relax, recharge, and feel at home

At Danpaati River Lodge, your visit does more than offer a unique experience in nature it also supports real change in local communities. Through our “Friends of Danpaati” program, we invite sponsors, guests, and partners to join us in making a lasting impact.

Thanks to our friends, we’ve been able to start important projects such as healthcare support for the elderly and sick in twelve surrounding villages, the opening of three village crèches (giving girls the chance to attend school), and the launch of a children’s media library, Wi Ta Paati Koni — a Saramaccan saying meaning “we share our knowledge.”

We also work closely with local farmers, builders, transport workers, and artists, making the lodge a driving force in the area’s economy.
