What is Awarra?
Awarra is a local fruit that grows in this region. While it’s tasty to eat, the real treasure is the oil that comes from its soft pulp. People in the villages use it for cooking, for skincare, and to care for their hair. It smells amazing and feels silky smooth.
Making the oil takes time and effort. The fruit is first boiled, mashed, and pressed by hand a process that takes teamwork, patience, and skill. And now, you get to be a part of it.
